Drywall might be the most thankless trade in construction. When it's done right, you don't notice it — the room just looks right, and the paint looks perfect. Great drywall work starts before the first sheet goes up. We evaluate stud spacing and straightness, shim or sister framing where walls are out of plane, and plan board layout to minimize seams in high-visibility areas. In bathrooms and other moisture-prone zones, we install moisture-resistant drywall or cement board — never standard paper-faced drywall where water could eventually find its way through.

Fastener technique matters enormously. Over-driven screws that break the paper face compromise the board's holding strength and create a dimple that reads through even multiple coats of mud. Properly driven fasteners sit just slightly below the surface without tearing the paper — and we drive every single one with that standard in mind.

Our finishing process typically involves three coats of compound: a tape coat that fully embeds joint tape without bubbles or bridges, a second coat that widens and smooths the transition, and a final finish coat that feathers edges so gradually they become invisible. We sand to a Level 4 or Level 5 finish depending on the application and final paint sheen. High-gloss or semi-gloss paint in natural light is an unforgiving judge of drywall quality — our walls pass that test.

We handle everything from new construction hanging and finishing, to patch work after plumbing or electrical repairs, to full-room restoration after water damage. We also install fire-rated assemblies where required by code, using Type X drywall with the correct fastener patterns and compound systems that maintain the assembly's fire rating.
